Why explore diversity and difference with children?

Children notice difference early, and how they learn to think about it shapes how they treat others. Philosophy gives them space to ask whether being different is good, what fairness means and how to disagree with respect.

The activities move from Patch the patchwork cat and fair treatment for different needs to stereotypes, tolerance and Herodotus’ story about customs and cultural relativism.
