Free activities to download
Ready-to-run EduTrend Contents hands-on robotics projects workshops for primary, middle and high school. Each free download includes a step-by-step session plan, facilitator notes, three student worksheets and an assessment checklist. Full 20-week programmes are available in EduStore.

Robot Post Office
Primary · Ages 5–8
Foundation · 40 min
Pupils program a floor robot to deliver a “letter” to houses on a town mat, planning each route and fixing mistakes along the way.

Line-Following Buggy
Primary · Ages 8–10
Developing · 2 × 50 min
Groups build or assemble a buggy, program it to follow a black line using a light sensor, and improve it until it completes a curved track.

Colour Sorting Machine
Middle School · Ages 10–12
Intermediate · 2 × 60 min
Groups design and build a machine that detects an object’s colour with a sensor and moves it to the right bin using a motor or servo.

Plant-Watering Alarm
Middle School · Ages 12–14
Intermediate · 75 min
Students build an alarm with a soil moisture sensor and a microcontroller that alerts when soil is dry, calibrating it with dry and wet soil.

Servo Robot Arm
High School · Ages 14–18
Advanced · 2 × 75 min
Teams build a two- or three-joint robot arm from card or 3D-printed parts with servo motors, program pick-and-place movements and measure repeatability.
