Who we are
EduTrend (edutrend.org) is an independent education publisher. This notice explains what personal data we collect when you visit our website, write to us or buy a resource from EduTrend Contents, why we collect it and what rights you have. We process personal data in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Last updated: September 2026.
What we collect and why
Orders. When you buy a digital resource, we collect your name, email address, billing details and order details so that we can deliver your download, send your receipt and handle any refund. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details.
Messages. When you write to us through the contact form or by email, we use your name, email address and message only to answer you.
Newsletter. If you subscribe, we use your email address to send you updates. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
Website data. Our site is hosted on Wix, which uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site secure and working and to produce visit statistics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
How long we keep it and your rights
We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, messages for up to two years, and newsletter data until you unsubscribe. Our service providers, such as our website host and payment provider, process data on our behalf and may store it outside Türkiye with appropriate safeguards.
You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. To make a request or ask a question about this notice, write to info@edutrend.org. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or to the data protection authority in your country.
