Why explore power and leadership with children?

Children meet power every day: in games, classrooms, families and the news. Thinking about who should lead and how power should be used helps them become thoughtful team members and citizens.

The activities move from forest animals choosing a leader and a class vote to leadership qualities, Plato’s Ring of Gyges and the ship of state.
