Aims and boundaries
Children should be able to name a range of feelings, notice that groups develop their own unwritten rules, and describe one habit and what triggers it. The emphasis is on observation and vocabulary, not on diagnosing anyone.
Set clear boundaries. Children never have to share personal experiences, and examples should come from stories, games or invented characters. If a child discloses something worrying, follow your school's safeguarding procedure rather than discussing it in the group.
