Goals for the session
Build four basic qualities: stamina, strength, balance and flexibility. Children should also learn to check their heart rate by feeling it in their neck or wrist, and to say how hard an activity felt on a scale of one to five.
Keep work periods short, around 30 to 40 seconds, with equal rest. Young children recover quickly and enjoy frequent changes.
